Helping Hands of Forest County is funded by our community through individual donations, local businesses/organizations and grants. We do not receive state or federal funds to purchase food or operate our programs.
When accepting online donations we use Zeffy, a free platform for nonprofits that ensures 100% of raised funds go towards our mission. Zeffy is funded solely by contributions from donors like you. Please consider supporting them at the end of your transaction, so they can continue to provide free software to us and thousands of other charities.

We operate with the help of federal, state and private donations.
Please read our recommended list of items and when out shopping, simply pickup non-perishable food items, essentials, senior items or infant care provisions. See our printable list of recommended items.

Successful food drives are easy! Arrange for your organization, business or sports team to determine the dates and how long your drive will run. It may be as short as an evening or weekend of sports activities.
We'll provide the donation barrels and arrange for drop off and pickup, if needed.
